Beautiful black female, about a year and a half old, not fixed, raised indoors since a puppy. She comes from a champion pointing and field-trial pedigree, and her puppy papers can still be sent in so you can officially name her anything you want. She currently goes by “Seven” (like the number).
This dog has been heavily trained since 8 weeks old, missing fewer than 50 days in her entire life without working, retrieving, or practicing. She has extensive experience on quail and pigeon, and she’s also naturally capable of squirrel or rabbit hunting. She will hunt anything up close, has a natural point, and carries the genetics and drive of a true field-bred rocket.
Seven is potty-trained, great inside, and has zero issues with people, kids, or other animals. Not gun-shy at all—she’s built for work. She has tremendous speed, endurance, and bird-finding drive. From the heel position, just cast her out and she’s bringing the bird back every time. She knows some hand signals, responds to directional pointing, and is confident in the field and in the water.
Commands she knows:
Sit
Stay
Down
Heel
Drop it
“Go find bones” (shed hunting command)
This dog has it all—retriever ability, pointing instinct, drive, intelligence, and discipline. She is ready for a great home with someone who will give her the time, work, and opportunities she deserves. She would also make a strong addition to a breeding program.
